What Is the Ayala Foundation U-Go Scholar Grant?
The U-Go Scholar Grant is a scholarship program launched in partnership with the Ayala Foundation. Its goal is to provide deserving Filipina college students with financial assistance, leadership development, and long-term support. In doing so, the program helps scholars focus on completing their degrees and contributing positively to society.
Although the specific amount of financial aid is not publicly stated, previous recipients have received yearly funding along with personal and professional development opportunities.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the U-Go Scholar Grant:
- Must be a Filipina citizen
- Must be an incoming 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year student for Academic Year 2025–2026
(4th-year students may apply only if enrolled in a 5-year degree program) - Must be enrolled in a public or state university
- Must not hold any other scholarship
- Must have a GPA of at least 85%
- Must show financial need
- Must have no disciplinary or administrative cases
- Must be active in community engagement
- Must demonstrate leadership potential, integrity, and a desire to uplift others
Required Documents
Prepare the following documents before submitting your application:
- Certificate of Registration or Enrollment (signed by the school registrar)
- Latest academic grades
- One of the following to prove financial need:
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents or guardians
- BIR-issued Tax Exemption Certificate
- Certificate of Indigency
- OFW or seafarer contract/income document
- Most recent electric bill (as proof of household expenses)
