TM Sim Registration Online Link, Requirements – How to Register

Philippines – TM Sim Registration is a online process where a TM Sim user can register their sim card online. Registering a sim card is mandatory after the implementation of the Sim Registration Act in the Philippines.

All companies including the TM Sim which are in the telecommunications field are required to provide sim registration service to its users. Sim Registration Act is implemented nationwide in the Philippines to reduce sim related frauds, online spam and scams.

TM Sim Registration 2024 Online

The TM Sim is owned by Globe Telecom, Inc. – a telecommunications giant in the Philippines. TM Sim is also known as TM Tambayan, Islacom, Touch Mobile, Republika ng TM. Globe Telecom, Inc., has created an online portal to help users register their TM Sim card.

How to register TM Sim

There are three steps in TM Sim Registration which are as follows:

  1. Visit the official TM Sim Registration Link from here: https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg.
  2. Fill the TM Sim Registration form online
  3. Get Reference number after successful sim registration

Information Required for SIM Registration

Before you register your TM Sim, you must know the information required in the registration process. This information changes depending upon your nationality and is as follows:

Registering as Filipino Citizen

If you’re a Filipino citizen, you will need the following information:

  • Full name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender / Sex
  • Address
  • Government ID presented + ID number
  • Valid government ID with photo

Registering as Foreign National in the Philippines

If you’re a Foreign national in the Philippines visiting as a Tourist, you will need the following information:

  • Passport (i.e., copy of the bio-page and pages where the current visa is stamped or shown)
  • Proof of address in the Philippines (booking in a hotel or other type of accommodation, or in the absence thereof, an affidavit/letter from the owner of the house or residence where such foreign national will stay)
  • Return ticket to country of origin or to another country indicating date and time of departure from the Philippines

If you’re Foreign national in the Philippines with another type of visa, you will need the following information to register TM Sim Card:

  • Passport (i.e., copy of the bio-page and pages where the current visa is stamped or shown) indicating passport number, full name and nationality
  • Proof of address in the Philippines (booking in a hotel or other type of accommodation, or in the absence thereof, an affidavit/letter from the owner of the house or residence where such foreign national will stay)
  • Other pertinent document, whichever is applicable:
    • Alien Certificate of Registration Identification Card (ACRI-Card) from the Bureau of Immigration or other types of official ID issued by any other visa-issuing agency
    • Alien Employment Permit from the Department of Labor and Employment or School registration and ID for students
    • For Persons of Concern or POCs, the type of travel or admission document validly issued by the Philippine Department of Justice

Registering Under Company Name

If you’re registering your TM sim under a company name, then an authorized representative should prepare the following information:

  • Details of the Authorized Representative:
    • Name of the representative
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender / Sex
    • Nationality
  • Company Name
  • Company Address
  • Type of Government ID presented + ID number
  • Valid government ID with photo
  • Certificate of Registration / DTI Registration
  • Board Resolution / Proof of Authority designating the authorized representative OR a Special Power of Attorney

List of Acceptable Government IDs

Along with the information given above, you will be required to submit a valid government ID for validation. The list of acceptable government IDs for sim registration are as follows:

  1. BIR ID
  2. DRIVER’S LICENSE
  3. IBP ID
  4. NBI CLEARANCE
  5. OWWA ID
  6. PRC ID
  7. PASSPORT
  8. PHILHEALTH ID
  9. PHILIPPINE IDENTIFICATION (NATIONAL ID)
  10. SENIOR CITIZEN ID
  11. SSS ID
  12. UMID CARD
  13. VOTER’S ID

Step by Step TM Sim Registration Guide

If you want to register your TM Sim Online, follow the steps given below:

  1. Visit the Official TM Sim Card Registration website – https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg.
  2. Select your preferred language from English / Taglish
  3. Enter your 10-digit mobile number and click on Register
  4. Enter OTP sent to your number for verification
  5. Fill all the details in the Online Registration Form with complete accuracy
  6. Choose the type of Government ID and Click on the “Attach” Button
  7. Upload your Government ID and with a Selfie
  8. Agree the TM Sim Privacy notice by ticking on the check Box
  9. Click on Submit Button to complete the online registration Process.
  10. A Reference Number will be displayed on the screen, after the online registration is complete.

NOTE: Take a Screenshot of the reference number or save it for future reference. The Reference Number is a proof that you have completed your sim registration.
