Types of Scholarships
PhilSA offers three types of scholarships under the AD ASTRA program:

Who Can Apply?
Students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree and want to pursue a Master’s or Doctorate in space science, technology, space law, industry, economics, or related fields can apply. Both local and international study options are supported.
Benefits of the Scholarship
The scholarship covers tuition fees, monthly stipends, book allowances, transportation, research grants, and other academic expenses.
- For Master’s students, the stipend is Php 27,500 per month locally.
- For Doctorate students, it’s Php 36,000 per month locally.

Priority Courses
The scholarship supports studies in areas such as space data applications, spacecraft systems, robotics, space law, policy, and multidisciplinary space studies like astronomy, astrophysics, space medicine, and more.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be Filipino citizens in good health
- Be under 45 (for Master’s/Doctorate) or 50 (for Sandwich Program)
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Have no pending legal cases or service obligations from previous scholarships
- Be accepted into an eligible university or institution
