CHED Tulong Dunong Scholarship is a financial assistance program offered by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for students pursuing a college degree. CHED provides different scholarship programs to help eligible and qualified students pursue their college or tertiary education.

What is CHED Tulong Dunong Scholarship?

CHED Tulong Dunong Scholarship Program is one of the many scholarship programs offered by the CHED. It aims to provide financial assistance to eligible and qualified Filipino students who are financially challenged and cannot afford to go to college. This scholarship program covers tuition fees, school fees, and other educational expenses.

Mariano Marcos State University has announced the opening of its Scholarship program to help students with their educational expenses and tuition fees.

What are the Scholarship Benefits?

CHED SUC Tulong Dunong Scholars are entitled to receive a scholarship grant of Php 7,500.00. The grant covers school expenses and tuition fees, as well as a living allowance.

What are the Requirements?

To be eligible for the Scholarship, the applicant must be a Filipino citizen. Additionally, all enrolled students of MMSU, in all levels and degree programs (first undergraduate degree), are eligible to apply. However, the applicant must not have received TDP, TES, STuFAP, or any other government-funded scholarships in the previous academic years.

List of Documents Required

To apply for the Scholarship, students must submit the following documents to the Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS, MMSU Batac Campus, Back of the Covered Court):

  • Duly signed Certificate of Registration or Enrollment for the SECOND Semester of S.Y. 2023-2024. This document must be obtained from the University/College Registrar. Please note that this requirement is only applicable to enrolled students of MMSU.
  • Original and recent copy of the Certificate of Indigency as proof of income, duly issued by the Punong Barangay where the applicant resides.
  • Fully accomplished TDP SUCs Application Form. The form can be downloaded from this link.

It is important to ensure that all documents are complete and submitted on time to avoid disqualification.

How to Apply for CHED Tulong Dunong Program?

To apply for the CHED-TDP Scholarship, interested and eligible candidates must submit the required documents exclusively to the OSAS Office. The OSAS Office is located at the back of the MMSU Covered Court, Batac Campus. Please note that only documents submitted directly to OSAS personnel will be accepted.
