
The Davao City Water District (DCWD) has officially opened applications for its College Scholarship Programs for the school year 2025–2026.
There are a total of 11 slots available, 7 for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and 4 for Academic Excellence scholars, specifically for students aiming to pursue a degree at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), either at the Obrero or Mintal Campus.
Application Period: January to May 30, 2025
Scholarship Benefits
All selected DCWD scholars will receive:
- Transportation, meals, and boarding house allowance
- Uniform and textbook allowance
- Thesis allowance in graduating year
- Cash incentive upon graduation
- Dean’s Lister incentive
DCWD College Scholarship
DCWD College Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) – 7 slots available
Who can apply?
- SHS graduates or current college students with at least 80% average
- Must be an IP or Muslim residing in watershed areas of Toril, Tugbok, Baguio, Calinan, or Marilog (Davao City)
What are the Requirement?
- Notice of Admission from USeP
- Tribal Certification and Certificate of Confirmation
- Proof of income (ITR not exceeding ₱120,000)
- Barangay endorsement, PSA birth certificate, and more
- RTCU Test with “High” Quality Index (for Engineering students)
DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship
DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship – 4 slots available
Who can apply:
- Recent SHS graduates from Davao City schools
- At least 85% average and in the top 20% of their class
What are the Requirements?
- Report card and top 20% certification
- Notice of Admission from USeP
- Proof of income, birth certificate, and more
- RTCU Test with “High” Quality Index
How to Apply?
Eligible students must first meet the requirements of USeP. Once qualified, applicants should proceed to the:
